Transporting children and babies safely | KidSafe SA

Kidsafe SA estimate that 80% of child car restraints are installed or used incorrectly. ????

Understanding the rules on how to transport infants and children safely is difficult for most parents, but especially difficult for parents who speak a language other than English. ????

That’s why Kidsafe SA have developed a resource on how to transport babies safely – which has been translated into 20 languages, in partnership with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital CALD Roundtable, and sponsored by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. ✅

Kidsafe SA hope to connect with parents from all cultural backgrounds and help them keep their children safe on the roads during and beyond Road Safety Week (15 – 22 May) and checks thousands of child car restraints every year at their Safety Centre located in Hilton.
