Today, on 17 May, we stand together to recognize the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). It’s a day to celebrate the diverse identities and experiences of LGBTIQA+ individuals and to reaffirm our commitment to equality, acceptance, and inclusion for all.
IDAHOBIT serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle against discrimination, prejudice, and violence faced by LGBTIQA+ people worldwide. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and advocate for the rights and dignity of LGBTIQA+ individuals in every corner of the globe.
Feel free to join Unidos, a warm and friendly online community/group that offers peer support to LGBTIQA+ individuals through events, activities and community education with a focus on people from a multicultural background based in South Australia.
