The National Day of Women Living with HIV

The National Day of Women Living with HIV is an opportunity for us to reflect on the strength and resilience of women in Australia who are HIV positive.

This year’s theme, “A Decade of Progress and Challenges; Celebrating our Journeys”, highlights the significant strides made over the past 10 years towards improving the lives of women living with HIV, while recognising that there are still many challenges to overcome, especially among multicultural communities.

By addressing misconceptions and raising HIV awareness, we can continue to break down the stigma and ensure all women living with HIV have access to quality support and care.

Watch and share our ‘Life is so good’ video linked below, which tells the inspiring story of one woman’s life after her HIV diagnosis.
