Kidsafe SA estimate that 80% of child car restraints are installed or used incorrectly. 😱
Understanding the rules on how to transport infants and children safely is difficult for most parents, but especially difficult for parents who speak a language other than English. 🚗
That’s why Kidsafe SA have developed a resource on how to transport babies safely – which has been translated into 20 languages, in partnership with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital CALD Roundtable, and sponsored by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. ✅
Kidsafe SA hope to connect with parents from all cultural backgrounds and help them keep their children safe on the roads during and beyond Road Safety Week (15 – 22 May) and checks thousands of child car restraints every year at their Safety Centre located in Hilton.
