‘Gambling Harm Ahead’

Introduced by the Office for Problem Gambling, this year’s campaign for the ‘Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2023’ is ‘Gambling Harm Ahead

Help is closer than you think when you miss the early signs of gambling harm. Exit for help. Visit problemgambling.sa.gov.au or contact PEACE Multicultural Services.

Inspired by road sign iconography and stylised in bright neon colours usually associated with gambling venues, the key messages of chasing losses, borrowing to bet, gambling alone and financial stress aim to attract attention, educate people on identifying the signs of gambling harm early and remind them that help is nearby if needed.

PEACE Multicultural Services provides culturally appropriate services to people and families impacted negatively by gambling through counselling, case management and financial counselling. Our services are provided in a holistic way. They are confidential and free of charge. There are several resources and information available on our website to help communities understand and recognise the problem and seek help.
